Topher,

I am a huge fan of yours and ultra-running!

I wa wondering if it is possible to get a couple of autographed pictures or posters of you for my sons? They are 4 and 7. They wouldbe great keepsakes for them.

If that is possible - you can email me at:
cschell@wausau.k12.wi.us

Thanks,
Chris

Dear Topher,
It finally happened. My last (of many) Mountain Hardwear Beret has worn out. So this is yet one more supplication from those of us who love that hat. (I'm talkin' 'bout F6OM1599http://www.sierratradingpost.com/mountain-hardwear-wool-beret-windstopper-for-men~p~19481/) Though I don't need the ear flap part- I have other Mt HW hats like the dome for that.

I have picked apart the seams and tried to make a pattern to sew my own but it hasn't gone well.
I will happily send you cases of wine or whatever you like if someone can get me the pattern and or dimensions of the component parts to this long-discontinued hat. Size Medium. Please, please, please?

I'm writing you because MH is your company. You know from your years in the gear biz that connection to one's equipment goes far beyond simply owning a "product." For almost a decade I've worn a Mt Hardwear Beret everywhere, year round. From the backcountry in Glacier National Park to the glaciers on Mt Blanc. At fancy wine trade tastings and back yard barbecues. Mt. Triglav in Slovenia and St Mark's Place in Venice. Hiking, alpine touring, dogsledding, hanging out, just being me. I'm hoping you get the idea that it is more than just something to keep my head warm. Let me know. Thanks, Wally319/400-8466 zinguy@gmail.com
